About the Position: Aksa Power Generation Kenya Office seeks a Business Development Specialist with extensive experience in sales, marketing, and business development in Uganda. The role requires remote work under a self-contract arrangement.


  • Based in Uganda (Entebbe or Kampala) with the ability to work remotely.
  • Willingness to work predominantly in the field.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Advanced proficiency in English for communication and reporting.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Power Generation Business.
  • Proficient in MS Office programs, especially Excel.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
  • Strong analytical skills, team player, and process-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Possession of a B-class driver’s license and active driving ability.


  • Conduct marketing and business development activities to enhance sales and exports of Aksa products and services in the assigned region.
  • Work in the field to improve market share and sales in the designated area.
  • Monitor product diversity, developments, and competitor activities in the international market.
  • Collaborate on product development, branding, and communication strategies.
  • Manage and coordinate corporate brand communication activities.
  • Report advertising, media, and business activities to country management.
  • Support direct sales operations and manage customer relationships.
  • Develop strategies to mitigate market risks and achieve targeted market share.
  • Prepare and report statistical data through sectoral research.
